At the Charlotte Hudson School of Dance, we believe everyone can dance and aim to offer classes that are accessible and suited to not only those who may want to dance more seriously, but to those who love to dance to make friends, for fun or fitness.
To become a versatile performer and dance safely we believe the balance of technique and performance opportunities are important, hence why we offer not only annual shows at The Palace Theatre, Newark but various other performance opportunities each year as well as multiple IDTA exam sessions annually helping develop technique in ballet, tap, theatrecraft and acro.
We believe training in multiple dance genres helps students, as they often complement each other, therefore we have our core classes which start with ballet, adding theatrecraft and tap for all dancers as they get a little bit older.
We then have additional acro classes, (though do recommend our core classes along with these) which help develop flexibility, lifts and tumbling skills!
We then also have adult classes with adult tap and BALLet fit running weekly, which are social whilst building strength, coordination and flexibility, and for keeping the brain and body active!!
