About The Charlotte Hudson School of Dance
The Charlotte Hudson School of Dance has been in Balderton for over 30 years, originally as the Charlotte Hamilton School of Dance. In 2021 Charlotte Hamilton retired and as a former student Charlotte Hudson took over as principal.
Charlotte trained with Charlotte Hamilton from the age of 3, before leaving at 17 to train at The Midlands Academy of Dance and Drama and then The Centre Performing Arts College. She gained her ISTD and IDTA teaching qualifications in Ballet, Tap, Modern and Musical Theatre and her Acrobatic Arts certification, before freelancing and running her own school in Kent for 10 years before returning to the Newark area!
Charlotte is qualified Barre & Baby teacher and is an affiliated studio for the Rosina Andrews pirouette and leap surgery. Charlotte is continually training and currently taking further IDTA qualifications.
