ELECTRIC ENERGY 2025 💙

8&9th March 2025, The Palace Theatre

3 shows and they all smashed it, everyone will sleep well tonight!

The dancers make the weekend! With over 240 dancers we had to combine so many dances this year to make a show possible, I was so impressed with only 1 rehearsal together they did it so well!

Whilst a show with that many dancers is always organised chaos they all did their parents proud and behaved so well for our brilliant chaperones. Thanks to everyone that volunteered to help, it doesn’t go unnoticed and I couldn’t give the dancers this opportunity to perform without you. Even with a surprise inspection from the council 15 minutes before show start, everyone impressed them and did me proud!

Thankyou to the Palace, Rachel, the front of house and bar staff, and the biggest thanks to the tech team who make it look brilliant in very limited rehearsals. It ran so smooth this year we had outside breaks in the sun for some fresh air!

To my family (and Carrie who we have taken as honorary Hudson on show weekends whether she wants to be I'm not sure!!) who give up everything to help with whatever is needed! Thank you!

My big girls and boy! The little ones love you, some dances had up to 36 on stage in one go and you got them on and in spaces super speedy!

A mention to my Thursday girls, the bugs are doing the rounds, one class started with 15 and we were down to 10 by the end of today, but true professionals at 9 years old, they took it in their stride and apart from a few gaps carried on as if it was all normal!

Sadly a few girls are leaving for uni this year, all of which have been with me since I started and the school for even longer! You know where we are, you're always welcome back. There were many tears tonight!

Thankyou to all the parents who bring children each week and give up your time to support your children and allow them to shine! Thankyou also for the lovely gift and flowers, it’s really not expected! And Thalia's family for the beautiful cake!
