DANCE THE NIGHT 2024 💖
Wow, what a weekend! Now I’ve had a chance to catch up, thought I’d best say a big thankyou, I’m so overwhelmed by all the lovely messages and emails!
The dancers are all truly stars and they make the weekend a pleasure. I always hope it shows that every dancer is included in my school and whilst they are all individuals and have different strengths, dance should be for everyone!
Whilst a show with 215 dancers, mainly children, is always going to be organised chaos 😂 they all did you proud and behaved so well for our brilliant chaperones. Thank you to everyone that volunteered to help, it doesn’t go unnoticed and I couldn’t give the dancers the opportunity to perform on such a scale without you.
Thankyou to everyone at the Palace, Rachel, the front of house and bar staff, and the biggest thankyou to the tech team who always make it look brilliant in very limited rehearsal time.
Thankyou to my family who give up everything to help with whatever is needed and store the costumes all year round!
To my big girls - I have had so many comments on how amazing you are with the little ones, I couldn’t run classes without you and you are very much admired by many younger dancers!
Sadly Miss Evie and Miss Breagha are leaving us to prepare for A-levels and uni and we wish you the best of luck, you are always welcome back! I remember helping in your classes when you were 3, it’s gone a full circle!
Thankyou to all the parents who bring children each
week and give up your time to support your children and allow them to shine! Thankyou also for the lovely gift and flowers, it’s really not expected!
There’s probably a lot more I could say but I think some of these photos sum it up, lots of happy faces of all ages, dancing with friends, real family and dance family! Feel free to add any photos you have in the comments I’d love to see them 💙
p.s save the date 8th&9th March 2025…
